ABOUT US

We are co-owners of The Kitchen and welcome you to our website. We look forward to seeing you soon at our Paynter’s Mill, Milton, Delaware location. We are just North of 5 Points in Lewes. Follow Route 1 North for 3.5 miles and turn left on Cave Neck Road. Paynter’s Mill is on the left and The Kitchen is on the right as you enter. Come see us!

We are not novices when it comes to the restaurant business. Ray attended the Culinary Institute of America. Upon graduation, he worked in Chef and Executive Chef positions throughout Southern California for ten years before relocating back to the East Coast and opening Second Street Grill in Lewes.

The Kitchen menu is set up with the goal of offering fresh, high-quality food at a decent price. There aren’t too many people going out and spending a whole lot of money because of the economy these days. So we just want to make things affordable and use seasonal products and the freshest of everything.

MENU INTRODUCTION

The menu choices at The Kitchen will take you around the world, offering everything from Asian Chicken Salad and Fish Tacos to Fish-n-Chips and Fried Green Tomatoes. All dinner entrees are priced to be affordable, with only the Pork Osso Bucco, Half Pressed Jerk Chicken and Calotte Steak dishes priced over $20. For those seeking lighter meals, The Kitchen offers an array of Salad, Sandwich and Burger options, all priced $10 and under. Many of these are offered on all of our menus – LUNCH & DINNER . Check them out.
